This write-up was produced as a result of a test that led me to discover that whilst the web is second nature to most people there are still millions of people who are interested in tattoos and not well versed with using the internet as a research tool.

The web has made it easy to find content about tattoos instantly. Just a few years back you needed to take the whole morning at the library skimming through hundreds of books.

Today you can simply take 5 minutes or less and just like that you have a huge categorized and highly relevant list to choose from about tattoos or specific topics of the same subject.

With billions of pages available for you to check out how best can you find this information online? The answer is  – through search engines.

Take some time to read through these few but useful operators that you can use. It is not my intention to waste your time with too much information especially because this is simply a helpful guide to help you find the exact information you are looking for. I understand that some readers of this site already know some of this information but for the beginners online this will prove to be helpful.

Currently the most popular search engine is Google so the tips are more focused on Google.com but you can use them on Yahoo.com.

The most important technique when running a search is to use inverted commas “”. For instance to find a college course about tattoos, simply enter “tattoos courses”, If for example you want careers just enter “tattoos careers”. What you will get there is a list of pages that contain the exact words searched for.

You can also improve your search by using the “+” operator. For example, typing in a word like “documentary about tattoos”+ “tattoos books” will show you pages that contain both those topic within the page.

My last tip is simply to search within one reliable site. You can do this by entering the operator “site:” at the start of your quiery text then follow with the specific domain name and then the keyword(s).This will produce results from only that site you specify.

By following these tips you should be in a better position to find anything online, whether it is about your internet in – tattoos or information you may need in the near future like reverse search cell phone number.

Now just take a few more minutes to check out some of the great content we’ve put together for you on this site.
